PRIVACY POLICY

Jiixer ("Jiixer," "we," "us") provides an AI photo editing service at jiixer.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Jiixer, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address and any other details you provide during sign-up. We store your Clerk-issued account ID to track your plan and edit usage — we don't separately collect or store your name, email, or password ourselves.
• Photos and prompts. When you upload a photo and enter a prompt, both are sent directly to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate your edit. Jiixer does not save your uploaded photos, generated results, or prompts to any database or file storage — they exist only for the duration of the request needed to produce your result.
• Payment information. If you upgrade to a paid plan, your card details are collected and processed directly by Square, our payment processor. Jiixer never receives or stores your full card number. We store only the plan you're on, whether you're paid, and Square-issued reference IDs (customer, subscription, and payment IDs) needed to manage your subscription.
• Usage information. We track how many free edits your account has used and basic request timing, to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

2. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Generate the AI photo edits you request;
• Identify your account and enforce free-plan and paid-plan limits;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Send transactional emails, such as payment receipts (sent by Square) and account-related emails (sent by Clerk);
• Maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded photos to train any AI model.

3. Third-party service providers

Jiixer is built on top of a small number of third-party services, each of which processes certain data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• OpenAI — processes uploaded photos and prompts to generate AI edits.
• Square — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase — stores your plan/entitlement status (not your photos).

4. Data retention

We retain your account and plan status for as long as your account is active. Uploaded photos and generated results are not retained by Jiixer at all — once your edit is returned to your browser, we keep no copy. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us (below).

5. Your choices

• You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the "Manage plan" button in the app.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
• You can delete your account entirely by contacting us.

6. Children's privacy

Jiixer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
